Available 24/7 for urgent removals across the Southern Downs and Granite Belt regions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the most dangerous snake we get in the Southern Downs & Granite Belt?

Keep a safe distance, keep pets away, and watch the snake from afar. Call our emergency dispatch immediately for professional removal.

What will the snake catcher do with the snake?

Incorrect. Baby snakes are born with fully functional venom glands and fangs. Some of the most highly venomous species, like the Eastern Brown, are quite small when young.

How long does it take for a catcher to arrive?

Our emergency dispatchers prioritise high-risk calls. Response times vary based on your location in the Southern Downs, but we aim for rapid deployment 24/7. We will keep you updated on our estimated time of arrival, so you know when to expect our arrival.

What happens if the snake can't be found?

Snakes are experts at hiding, and sometimes they move on before a snake catcher arrives or disappear into areas that are inaccessible. If we can't locate the snake during our visit, we'll thoroughly inspect the area, identify potential hiding spots, assess the level of risk, and provide practical advice to help keep your family and pets safe. We'll also explain what signs to look for, how to reduce the chances of the snake returning, and what to do if it is seen again.
